This scholarship was created to thank camp counselors for their dedication to campers and the camp industry. This scholarship awards $1,000 toward college tuition for a different camp counselor each year. The camp counselor must have worked at a Max and Marion Caldwell Foundation-affiliated camp for 2 summers and be hired for next summer. The individual must have worked as a counselor at least one of the two years and have the recommendation of the camp’s director. The scholarship will be awarded directly to the educational institution of the recipient’s choosing within 12 months.
Tuition will be paid directly to the school.
We are currently accepting applications for the 2008 Scholarship Award. Application deadline is August 1, 2008 and the scholarship will be awarded by September 1, 2008.
To apply for the scholarship, please do the following:

3. Print and fill out the scholarship application. Print out three copies of the reference form and give them to your references. One reference must be from your camp director and one from your educational institution. The third can be a personal or work reference.
